Hello everyone! I hope all is well with you today :)

Just wanted to update you on what has been going on with me. I've been focusing on college work and getting my house organized this weekend. I have been eating healthy and working out still, just haven't had much time to post :/ I promise I will start updating again next week, as I can!

Until then, here is something that helped keep me motivated during the weekend!

Day One: Start of My Weight Loss Journey!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great and feeling motivated today!

Today is the end of my first week of my weight loss journey. I've worked out many times before, but have always quit for one reason or another. I'm hoping this time will be different. I'm making this blog to motivate myself and hold myself accountable. I'm sure my readers (you), wouldn't want to see me quit, right?

I'll also be posting my meals that I cook and eat during the week, motivational quotes, fitness examples, and other items to keep you motivated with your weight loss or maintenance journey! I am not a doctor, fitness trainer, or anything like that. I'm just a normal, every day person trying to become healthier and more confident in myself!

So, let's get into my first post!

Today I started the 30 days to ripped DVD by Jillian Michael! I have heard many amazing reviews about this DVD, so I figured I would try it out! For those of you interested in purchasing the DVD for yourself, I will post a link at the end of my blog post showing you where I purchased it (Walmart). I will also be trying to follow her 30 day meal plan. However, I will be adding some modifications of my own because I don't eat fish and simply can't afford some items.

I did the Week 1 workout tonight for the first time and boy did it kick my butt! The moves look simple, but once you get your heart rate up, it starts to get intense! My legs felt like jello afterwards, but I could feel it working and getting my heart rate up. I'm definitely excited to see where this takes me!

If you would like to see anything special as far as things I'm doing during my workout/meal regimen, please let me know, and I'll try to include them!
